Newsletter #14 Hello Again! It's Good To Be Back
After more than a year, let's make this newsletter come to life again.
Hey there!
After potentially taking the longest break, here I am as a brand new person with fresh ideas and stories to share with you, both here and on Medium.
A lot has happened in the span of a year so much so that I couldn’t write anything on Medium, let alone continue this newsletter.
I wish I was, but I had a far from a stable routine that didn’t allow me to allocate time for writing as I used to before. Without wanting to, I neglected my biggest passion.
But I’m currently working on this, and trying to develop a strategic plan to consistently show up with fresh produce of quality articles and writings.
The last time I wrote this newsletter I was still a college student. Fast forward to the present day, I graduated from university with a Psychology degree, am currently in my gap year, and preparing for doing a master’s in Clinical Psychology later this year.
In the meantime, I did many things, from being a psychologist's assistant to being a research intern, working at clinics, conducting my own research, applying to grad schools, and now, working on my research article.
In this process, I’ve also garnered unique life experiences and insights that I plan to transfuse into my writing and share with my community.
I also applied to jobs in this period as well but got a batch of rejections.
I’m using those rejections as an opportunity to write and publish more on Medium, work on my research article, read much more, and enjoy my gap year to the fullest before I leave abroad to study in an intensive master’s program.
What I wrote lately
I made a little comeback to Medium in December and wrote a couple of articles to get out of the rut. Hopefully, I will return back with more.
Here are some of my latest articles if you want to catch up with me and my writing:
I have two pieces from a more retrospective outlook, evaluating and extracting life lessons from experiences and tracking my self-development:
Rejections Are Tough But Are the Most Valuable Assets For Our Future
3 Major Events That Shaped Who I Am And Improved the Quality of My Life This Year
Below two articles are about sources and strategies to get organized and some changed habits, to increase the quality of your life:

5 Things I Did This Year That Made All The Difference In My Life
Lastly, I have a piece published only yesterday about a creative and extraordinary decision-making strategy you can use that will make all the change in your thinking and decision-making process:
How to Improve Your Decision-Making with the Six Thinking Hats Technique
In the meantime, new articles are in the works. I have many exciting drafts to work on.
After all, what is a better time than the start of a new year to start and restart creative projects?
One of my new year’s resolutions is to write and publish more articles, which hopefully become a reality all throughout this year.
What are your new year’s resolutions and plans and what is your strategy to continue to work on your goals? I would appreciate your comments and feedback!
Until then, see you next week!
