Hello from the start of a new week!
We’ve made the end of January, and it passed like flash, as usual.
In February, bigger things are waiting for me. As I’m typing these sentences, I’m preparing for my new job, which I will start this week!
It’s kind of a huge deal for me as it is my first full-time corporate job.
Ever since I graduated from college, I’ve waited for this moment to arrive. I manifested having a real job for long, and I was applying for jobs for months.
After a batch of rejections, I finally was accepted by a cool company and am going to make a real salary!
I gave a gap year and tried out many different paths, but now I’m getting a real job, and I’m so excited. I’m slowly but surely ticking the items on my goals list and it makes me feel so fulfilled and satisfied.
We’ll see how it’ll go, whether I’m suitable for a 9-6, and how long it will last. I just wanted to experience this world as well and try to learn whatever I can get from such an environment.
Of course, a 9-6 job also scares me to a point that I also have other tasks on my plate. Such as my research article and of course, Medium and writing, along with other personal stuff.
I don’t ever want to neglect writing and Medium. I planned to write more consistently this year, so I’m still trying to accomplish that goal, as I try to mold this habit with this newsletter as well.
I plan on at least coming up with an article a week. But if you don’t see me posting, know that I’m trying to adjust to my new life, am loaded with tasks, or feel burnt out.
With a lot of priorities on my list, Medium feels more like a hobby right now, but a hobby that I still want to get better at, as I want to better my writing with each rising day.
Hopefully, my 9-6 job won’t get the best of me, and I’ll successfully manage a task load such as this, while also trying to finish my research article and get that over with so that I can focus more on Medium.
This will surely be a challenge and an exciting ride that I hope to bring you along with me!
On that note, I’ll keep you posted.
Take care!
Hope the new job is going well, Sude!
