Newsletter #4 Getting My Sh*t Together, Putting My Life In Order
After a wild vacation, you need to get back on track
Hi, It’s great to see you here!
I returned from my 6-day Bodrum vacation Friday night, with a sore throat, and an exhausted body.
I went to the doctor’s, and as I expected, I had pharyngitis. As a result, I rested most of the weekend. With the help of resting and meds, I’m regaining my energy and preparing myself to get back on track with my life. Because I left so much behind.
One week is a good amount of time to give a pause, now it’s time to get back on track.
I wasn’t able to write anything during my vacation. Not as little as scribbling a sentence or two in my Notes app. I read a handful of Medium articles and was able to read a book but of course, wasn’t able to finish it.
I had close to zero calm moments, 4 girls on a trip equals chaos! So I couldn’t find a quiet moment to pour my thoughts down on paper.
This week, I’m determined to start fresh. I’m planning on working on my unfinished drafts and working on new ideas. I have so much to do and I’m excited to tackle all of it.
With the refreshing energy my short but packed summer vacation gave me, now I’m fully charged and motivated to tackle what’s in front of me.
What I wrote this week
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to publish anything this week. Yet I started to write articles and sending them to publications. Exciting articles are coming your way soon! It feels so good to start writing again.
Because I can’t offer you anything new, I’ll give you an article from the past that is in harmony with this newsletter’s topic.
Having Your Life Together Is Overrated, Take This Alternative View Instead
Having your life together is a demanding and unrealistic goal to have, as your perfectly prepared schedule won’t guide you at all times.
Life is about balance. And that balance will shift out of place from time to time. You will need to recalibrate it. You need to spare time both for fun and work.
Work with what life throws at you on a moment-to-moment basis and don’t aim to have your life together. Because it won’t stay the same way for long.
I’m going to keep this week's newsletter short and as I’m in the process of getting my shit together. I aim to be productive and come back later next week to give you stellar recommendations and offer you new ideas to ponder on.
Till then, take care, hope to see you here next week!
